This will in no way improve traffic and is not related to building homes faster. This is provincial overreach into municipal affairs that reduces local governments' ability to leverage local priorities and serve their communities. The restriction this would create in the effort to expand transit alternatives to cars concerns me. I want to see greater implementation of cycling and transit options which make the community more liveable, safe and ultimately less congested. The better the cycling infrastructure that is implementation the more safe my family feels using it and it improves our lives.
