Hi

I think this bill is irresponsible, as is any ligeslation that has generalizated rules for complex issues like mobility. Bike lanes have many to commute and feel safe while doing so.

Commuting by bike has also helped me tremendously with my mental health. I have much more energy now then before I started commuting, I do it whenever the roads are cleared.

I have also hurt my back this summer and was struggling to lean back and walk, I couldn't drive for a couple of days but was still able to ride a bike. Just a personal anecdote I know it might not be shared by many.

On my way to work one morning I passed a group of elderly cyclists, there must have been 25 of them. They were enjoying their time moving slowly seemingly half aware of their saroundings I got past them in about 30 seconds but they did clag up the bike lane a bit. If the same group of people used anything else with the exception of a bus, I am convinced that they would cause travel delays for cars for blocks and potentially infrastructure damage.

Also I have had many good interactions with drivers in Toronto many have been giving me devil horns, which is the rock symbol, I am confused as to why but I believe it to be a sign of good will from them.

Bike lanes encourage others to pick up this awesome mode of transit and keep citizens from being hurt.
