My husband and I ride on Toronto city bike lanes every day. It is our primary mode of transportation. In a busy city with a lot of traffic, it is the bike lanes that make our commute possible. Recently, our children have started riding their bikes to school. We work with them every day to understand bike and traffic safety. It is heartbreaking to think that limiting or removing the bike lanes would make it unsafe for them to ride in our city. Please don't make this city less safe and less habitable for our children.
