I believe strongly that bike lanes and other interventions to encourage alternatives modes of transport over the car can reduce congestion and fight climate change. I also believe municipalities, not the province of Ontario, are best positioned to decide how to design their own city streets for their population.
I simply do not think the Province should be interfering with this. The province has bigger things to worry about.
