Doug Ford and gang, please give it a rest. Bill 212 and now this? Bike lanes do not cause traffic congestion. Repeating it again and again and again through these silly bills doesn't make it true. We need a more connected bike lane so people can have alternative modes of transportation. I'm sick of the delivery workers taking over the sidewalk on the stretch of Yonge-Finch to Yonge-Sheppard because there are no bike lanes there.
If there's anything you need to prohibit or reduce, it'd be the on-street parking on major streets. The traffic congestion on Yonge-Sheppard and Yonge-North York during the weekends is because of cars trying to do street parking there.
In conclusion, I heavily oppose Bill 60.
