This is the time to take bold action to support environmentally friendly solutions for our cities and our transit. The climate crisis is upon us; it’s impacting our mental health and it’s the largest projected public health crisis. Why are we not investing in protecting cyclists and public transit? why are we making it easier for cars and incentivizing this form of transit when there are so many co-benefits for the health of people and the environment to invest instead in infrastructure that is carbon free? Please we urge you to make decisions based on what’s best for our communities’ wellbeing, not for convenience, not for green house gas emissions. Thanks for considering.
