The ban on reducing motor vehicle lanes is poor planning as it will not just impact bike lanes but also affect bus priority lanes, patios, school streets, and other street improvements that rely on reallocating space. Municipalities should have the right to determine how traffic flows, who is protected and how cities can improve community. I totally oppose this and expect the provincial government to stay in their own lane.
