We just finished 2 months…

We just finished 2 months cycling in Europe. It is very clear that the infrastructure must come first and then the cyclists will follow. People are too fearful to cycle in lanes with distracted and/or angry motorists. Bike lanes and cycling are a remedy to our congested streets -they are not the cause. Too many motorists, too many simultaneous construction projects, too many drivers not following the laws and speeding, going through red lights and blocking intersections are what is clogging our roadways. Look at any country that promotes and supports cycling - the traffic runs more smoothly and the overall health of the country improves. Let’s move forward!
