The only way traffic is going to improve in cities like Toronto where the population is growing is to add more capacity for high-density transportation. Cars are the least efficient use of space by far, with sidewalks, bike lanes, and transit lanes (in that order) being more efficient per user. Bill 60 will have the opposite effect of its on-paper goal, and will allow traffic to continue to get worse. Bill 60 needs to be withdrawn or blocked.
