I'm sad to see your rationalization for the changes to the Conservation Authorities. I believe that reducing the number of conservation areas will lead to a lack of awareness of water issues, spreading the staff too thinly to effectively care for the area. Not only that, but it seems you are making these changes just to exploit the conservation areas for development. I would also be interested to see from what and where you would obtain 'sound science'.
