The City of Peterborough…

The City of Peterborough Asset Management and Capital Planning Division is deeply concerned that Schedule 5 of Bill 60 would unnecessarily limit a municipality’s ability to effectively manage its own transportation network. We strongly urge the Province to engage in meaningful, collaborative consultation with municipalities to develop a regulation that preserves appropriate provincial oversight while ensuring local governments can continue to plan and operate efficient, sustainable, and well-coordinated transportation systems that meet the needs of their communities.
