As a resident of the Thunder…

As a resident of the Thunder bay District I am strongly opposed to the inclusion of the Lakehead Regional Conservation Authority in an amalgamation with 6 southern ontario conservation authorities.

Any administrative efficiencies that are thought to be gained from this amalgamation will not compare to the operational efficiency imparted by local leadership, staff and knowledge.

I support the recommendation that the LRCA form a stand alone regional conservation authority to be known as the Northwestern Ontario Regional Conservative Authority.
