Conservation needs to remain in the hands of local people who understand the area and needs. Each are is different and demands unique experience. Putting many districts together makes for a one size fits all approach that is not in the best interests of local conservation. Each area has their own needs and these should be addressed by local authorities not some central committee with no connection to the area. Keep things as they are so everyone can continue to enjoy nature.
