I am very much against the legislation being purposed by the Ford Government. It removes the capability of our municipal government and the residents to make the right choices for our city and the environment that is so important to us and place it I the hands of the chosen bureaucrats that have very little knowledge of what is important to our residents, city, and region.
We now see how the Ford Government is dealing with the construction of builds not listening to the municipalities, but over riding them to the detriment of the city. Also the removal of speeding cameras, all the mayors of the region provided excellent reasons to maintain them but the Ford Government completely ignored the people’s request.
I have lost respect and the opinion that the Ford Government and see that it is completely ignoring what is needed for the municipalities and for its residents.
