I strongly support this extension. However, a 9 month extension is insufficient. We must make the moratorium permanent. Water scarcity is a problem that shouldn't need to exist in Canada but the privatization of water combined with climate change and its influence on fresh water is making such a grim future possible.
An extension is good, a permanent ban is better.
