Cancelling the current cap-and-trade program before submitting a new climate change program and without proper consultations with environmental experts is irresponsible. The latest report on climate change by Environmental Commissioner Diane Saxe proves that the cap-and-trade program was working well. I am very concerned that Bill 4 will have negative effects on environment and people health in Ontario. The government should listen to expert opinions and then take responsible actions. Taxpayers deserve this.
