I strongly disagree with the government reneging it’s promise to protect the Greenbelt from further development. Ontario does not need more urban sprawl. It’s unsustainable for both the municipal tax base and infrastructure required to develop this area. This development will cause irreparable harm to Ontario’s ecology and further expose unsuspecting Ontarian’s to climate disasters (namely flooding). Ontario needs more housing, but it needs to be built in a way that will benefit all
generations of Ontarian, not just Ford’s development buddies looking for cheap land.
