My concern is that once one piece of legislation like the Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan is amended, it opens the door for constant amending.
Much hard work went into that plan and the areas chosen for protection were chose for a reason. Now the Ontario Government wants to undo all of that hard work, and grab the "easy" land to develop.
When our water is contaminated, from where do we drink? When our agricultural farmland is all paved over, from where do we eat?
