The landfill should not be allowed to expand so close to two different water sources. There are multiple endangered species inhabiting the Sydenham. To allow this expansion would be irresponsible and reckless. If it is allowed it would be with the full knowledge of those who approve it they will be permanently harming the environment around it and killing off species that only inhabit this area. Some of the best agricultural soil in south western Ontario surrounds this area, it should be protected not contaminated.
