We live in a residential neighbourhood with a pond and wetlands. Yes, there are industrial facilities on Wimhara but that is enough! The health of the natural environment is extremely important and this facility will put that at risk. I am also concerned about the risk to my family and my neighbours. This plant can lead to health issues which I am not wanting to risk. As well, the addition of 100's of large trucks carrying waste through the neighbourhood will cause issues with noise and safety.
Will there be a truck route, will there be environmental and traffic and health studies be done? Where do similar facilities currently exist and what are long term health concerns?
