Scientists across the globe have come to an evidence-based conclusion that if the global temperature increases by 2 degrees Celsius there would be a catastrophe endangering the human species. I am very concerned about the open-endedness of the proposed Act which repeals Cap and Trade. Is it not very costly to scrap a policy which much of the world has embraced after decades of target setting and compromise? What will the new climate change plan be based on?
