It is so obvious that continuing on the current path of fossil fuel combustion is destroying the world.

Hello, I am a 18 year old young woman and it isnt hard to see that my children and grandchildren will still be suffering if this bill is passed. IT IS TIME TO BE BETTER! no more cutting corners, the government cannot be in control and still don’t incorporate tactics to better the public good!
Responsible government members please consider my objection to revoking the present legislation that puts a price on pollution. Making polluters pay for the emissions they produce has research that shows its efficacy.

I ask what is the alternative plan to cancelling Cap & Trade? Your government has not provided any details of any alternative plan(s) to reduce carbon generation into our atmosphere.

While it is essential to decrease emissions, and a cap-and-trade policy seems to be the best way to do this, and with Ontario already in such a system it would be extremely imprudent to reneg on it.

Climate change must be addressed . The Ontario Government should:
Adopt carbon fee and dividend;
Focus on energy efficiency in homes and buildings;
Electrify our transportation system;
Support jobs and investment in the clean economy;

Until you come up with a reasonable plan to combat climate change, Cap and Trade should be kept, regardless on whether the oil and gas lobby likes it or not. Can you give us a valid reason on how cap and trade is costing Ontarians?
I am vehemently against removing this bill without an approved replacement in its place. If and when a replacement is proposed that accomplishes whatever goal is desired by removing this bill and does not put our environment in a worse state, I will gladly support it.
At this time any action that lessen our response to climate is unacceptable. Carbon pricing of any form is the best solution as it is a user based tax. In this case the more you pollute the more you pay.

Mr Ford's denial of climate change and foolhardy abandonment of the policies, practises, rebates and recognition of and consultation with scientists that were norm for the previous government of the province leave any educated, thinking person baffled. Climate change is real.
