I find it difficult to support this motion without a concrete deadline of when the replacement or complimentary actions that will replace or improve on this repealed Act. Should the government include those provisions then I could support this motion.

I agree with the current Ontario Government's decision to revoke the cap & trade (aka Carbon Tax) scheme. While protecting the environment is important, and need to be a focus for all of humanity the Cap & Trade tax scheme is not the right answer.

Cap n trade supported fixing residential and commercial problems that otherwise were left without the positive changes for the environment and energy cost savings. We need these programs to enable EVERYONE to do their part.

I really think that it is a mistake to cancel the cap and trade program. We need some form of GHG program. If we don't, the federal government will give is a carbon tax. The cap and trade program is smart and it is proven to work. It taxes the polluters. Lire davantage

My analogy may not be a great one here but as a constituent and proud ontarian/canadian, who pays some of the highest cell phone bills in the world, i find the lack of planning to replace the offset of ghg's by axing this program as nonsensical as were one of the cell providers to stop providing me Lire davantage

I understand that some people don’t want a carbon tax but going into the election not having a plan and after 3 month still not having a plan is ridiculous I liked the cap and trade plan the liberals had and I took advantage of it. Cap and trade is great for the environment and the 10 dollars a month it costs me is well worth the health benefits and rebates before they were canceled. Do not remove it and bring back all the rebates
