The Greenbelt was created to prevent further loss of farmland and natural heritage and restrict urban sprawl, by converting this land for development we will not address the housing crisis and can cause irreversible change. Lire davantage

The greenbelt cannot be swapped out for other land parcels. The very idea is beyond corrupt. I voted PC in the last election but I cannot continue to support a mini dictator. Don't touch nature, reinstitute the environmental protections. Lire davantage

Please do not build on the green belt. At the end of the day, what matters most is that we take care of the only planet we have to live on. This decision would be making Ontario a worse place to live. We do not want to be part of a province that treats the environment this poorly.

The plan to change legislation regarding the green belt is obviously short sited and will only serve to cause us all more harm. Please don't. You’ll be destroying multiple homes of the animals that currently live on this land to replace them with mansions. Where would these animals go? First thing they’ll do is then enter towns where they’ll be unsafe and causing trouble. This land is protected for a reason. Lire davantage
