I hope that this does not pass. The growth of Toronto's bike network over the last few years has made it a feasible option for my commute, and it's really opened up more of the city to me. Lire davantage

This is a blatant overreach and overreaction for unhappiness about a bike lane in Toronto that (1) should not apply province-wide and (2) should not be carried out by the provincial government. Incredibly inefficient use of our tax dollars and time of our MPPs and their departments. Lire davantage

Removing bike lanes will in effect slow traffic down when we’re forced to drive slowly behind someone on a bike, instead of having the ability to safely drive beside them. Lire davantage

I am disabled and need to ride a bike to survive. These types of laws scare me a lot.

This proposal, if enacted, would be a step backward in Ontario’s efforts to build a sustainable, safe, and accessible transportation system for all. Lire davantage

Of all the embarrassing wastes of time this government has embarked on this might be the most pointlessly, egregiously mean-spirited.

I use the bike lanes to get around while roller skating, since rollerskating on the sidewalk can be unsafe in areas with many pedestrians. Bike lanes save lives, and keeping and expanding them will help reduce congestion by making sure less people use cars. Lire davantage

In my experience as a cyclist in Ottawa, being in a traffic lane WITH cars causes gridlock and slows vehicles down. Lire davantage

I feel that this proposal is preposterous. I think if Doug ford spent a little more time at the Gym and worked on walking around a little bit more, then he would not be so addicted to his car with some Air Conditioning to cool his fat ass, that he might actually get some Governing done. I am opposed to this proposed bill. The local roadways should be managed by the municipality. This proposal creates unnecessary red tape and is an intrusion into the rights and powers of municipalities to manage themselves. Lire davantage

The name of the bill has nothing to do with its intention. It will not reduce gridlock. It will not save anyone time. It will only waste money and probably funnel money to Ford's friends. The data is out there. This bill is further demonstrating Ford is unfit to lead in any level of politics.

My wife and I live near Yonge St in the Summerhill area. It used to be a nice place to live in the heart of the city. Sadly that has been dramatically changed with the addition of the bike lanes and all the curbs, plastic sticks, painted roads and signs that come with them. Lire davantage

This is completely stupid. Yelling about bicycles on TV and hiding environmental bypass mechanisms is a stupid bill. What a complete waste of time and I hope all of this corruption is uncovered.

Schedule 4 is an absurd overreach. Municipalities need to be able to manage their own roadways. Smaller municipalities will be impacted most severely, being unable to afford the studies required to make even minor, sensible changes. Why are bicycle lanes being targeted specifically in this bill? Lire davantage

This bill as it pertains to bicycle lanes is a terrible government overreach as well as a completely ineffective way to tackle gridlock and traffic. Lire davantage

I 100% agree with the removal of the bike lands on major roads. It is insane. In addition to the on-going construction around the city. Lire davantage

The only way to reduce car traffic is to reduce cars. Making it easier and safer to commute on a bike reduces traffic. It's not our fault Doug Ford can't ride a bike.

This is a blatant abuse of power over municipalities and a massive waste of money. It's clear this Bill is really an excuse to remove environmental assessments and let the Conservatives give more of our tax dollars to their developer buddies. Lire davantage

I'm not a huge fan of bike lanes. BUT having them already built and torn up on University makes no sense. Waste of Money. And overstepping on the side of the Ontario government. You're not the mayor or Councillor of Toronto, so stay in your lane. Lire davantage
