The proposal to remove water daily for 10 years has not had sufficient details on impacts provided to the local community. Until a detailed study has been completed and reviewed with local residents, this permit should not be approved.

This proposal will destroy one of the best rivers in Ontario. Do not allow this to happen. I will actively protest this decision in person if approved, and I know a lot of others will join me. Keep our river safe.

I do not believe that this is necessary or desirable. It it certainly not in the best interests of the local population. Removing large quantities from the water table will have negative consequences for area wells and the local environment. This permit should be rejected. Lire davantage

The thermal impact of this amount of water usage may raise the water temperature in the river above what can be tolerated by brown trout. If there any brook trout left in that part of the river the impact on them would be even greater. Bob Lire davantage

How is this acceptable ? Has the effects to the environment, local community and water supply been assessed. It seems as though they are just doing whatever it is they want without oversight and an amending previously agreed upon conditions. Lire davantage

big mistake to interfere with Mother Nature, the rivers without enough rain are low at best of times, this would make them even lower, and there goes the spawning ritual of the migratory fish. Should not happen.
