I am a resident of Brooke Alvinston and have experience with storage of these bio solids locally. Firstly the former storage facility by highway 402 that was shut down several years ago had the same proposed parameters as the Kerwood site. Read more

The proposal uses the words "discharging via a municipal ditch within the Lake Saint Clair Watershed." This wording is specifcally vague, and hides the fact that the stormwater run-off discharges into the Sydenham River, one of the important habitats of the Spiny Softshell Turtle (endangered). This is a HUGE concern. I live in Huron Kinloss near where these biosolids were stored on a spot of land... 5300 tonnes of the stuff was dropped onto the ground, not covered, rained on, snowed on etc, just seeping into the ground, likely the water supply at some point... Read more

These are pictures of proof, that I think is valid in relation to this, the company in question has disregarded guidelines set in place. They spread in the rain, stored mass amounts of piles. They also ditched their truck near a creek in the township we live in. Read more
