It is my understanding that the Sydenham river contains many species at risk, it also supplies water to many surrounding farms for irrigation and watering livestock. This year we have had two occasions when the river has flooded its banks in my area by >than 5 feet. Read more

As a local resident, we are very concerned about this proposal and the potential issues that could arise from the storm water runoff of this facility, which would directly impact our family and community. We are not in favour of this proposal.

This is not the place to put this sewer as the runoff will go into our water. It gets pretty flooded there and from what I read the facility will not be able to handle it. The odour will be disgusting , people live here and camp. Read more

Re: OLT-22-003082 Biosolids Storage Facility. Hello I live a few km from this proposed site and I’m concerned with our wells in the aquifer being contaminated. What assurance do we have that the seepage from this sewage will not contaminate the aquifer? Read more

This is not at all what anyone would want if they knew what was being proposed. It isn't only the issue of smell. But they run off into the Sydenham river is just wrong and disgusting. Home values going down is so unfair to anyone who owns a home nearby. I for one am totally against this. Read more

This is disgusting and should not be allowed so close to an important waterway like the Sydenham River!! You are going to pollute my childhood neighborhood and poison my parents who’s well is just down the road!!! This should not be allowed! Find somewhere else for this filth!

It is outrageous that this is being considered without a plan for an enclosed facility. With weather being more extreme, there must be a thoroughly thought out ans well executed storm water runoff plan. An enclosed building to store the biosolids needs to be made mandatory. Read more

Please do not approve this as this is extremely toxic and will have huge negative impacts. Concerned of the environment, water run off and above all, our health. Many reports of major issues from this elsewhere if you do a quick search even. Read more
