I am extremely surprised and appalled at the OLT's decision to rule in favour of the biosolid storage facility. This storage facility is setting a precedent. If approved, it would be the first of its kind in Ontario. Read more

It’s appalling that Strathroy would even approve something as toxic and environmentally dangerous to our water supplies as this. With the high levels of rain we have been experiencing lately , it would clear cause run off into our water and be absorbed in our soil. Read more

I would like you to reconsider adding this to this area. This placement is too close to the Sydenham River and the materials that you plan on spraying on our precious farmland are toxic. It is known that the human waste contains plastics, metals and materials that will never decompose. Read more

This is absolutely barbaric How unbelievable to use human bio waste in this form. It's inhumane and I'm so pissed off such a thing is exciting in our country period. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. It's bad enough we have to deal with animals wastes and Strathroy food disgrace. Read more

This proposal is inadequate for a permanent facility. Tarps and tires for managing long term storage provides insufficient protection against contaminated rain water runoff This site is also near the environmentally sensitive Sydenham river which contains several species at risk. Read more

As the principal of a local elementary school located within 10 kms of this propsed site, I would like to object to this proposal on behalf of my young students. We have Junior Kindergarten students up to grade 8 students and will hopefully be expanding to a high school in the coming years. Read more

Good Afternoon, I have concerns with this process for waste management. Specifically with consideration for storm management and how the site will prevent toxins from entering the water system near by (the Sydenham river). Read more

I do not feel placing a biosolid waste farm on top of flood lands is a smart idea. This poses so many risks to our water supply, especially being so close to communities that drink from well. It will only be a matter of time before our wells are contaminated

This facility would have a significant impact on neighboring properties, most significantly the Longhorn Ranch, with foul odors and noisy truck traffic which would negatively impact their business. Also of major concern is water runoff from rain into the river and water tables. Read more

I have lived in the country my whole life so I understand smells. I understand that farmers have to spread there animal droppings in there field. It smells but it is what it is. They work it under we call it a day. But to live in a neighborhood that has human waste around you is disgusting. Read more

This site is subject to flooding - the current plan is not sufficient to safely protect the runoff from reaching the Sydenham. This proposed site is within 1km of a fish spawning location on the Sydenham. In the spring this area floods and the runoff will significantly impact this area. Read more

There’s peoples livelihoods at stake along with many animals and livestock in the area. This is good for those things. Being in jeopardy of having poison water run through farms is dangerous and not safe. I don't support this proposed site plan.

the smell of the bio fertilizer is noxious even small amounts and they are planning storage for more than 100,000 cubic yards. The runoff from the site drains through an open culvert directly into Morrogh Creek. Thank you!! Read more
