Ontario has millions of acres of crown land away from populated areas in places that won't kill off endangered species. Why are you endangering human and animals around lambton-kent, like there are no other options? There are Healthier and Easier choices.

I grew up on very fertile farm land near Dresden Ontario. My family still lives and farms in the area: I care about the quality of the environment there. I also live in a part of Ontario which relies on a Great Lake for its drinking water. I care about the quality of the water in Great Lakes. Read more

Everyone knows that this is the wrong location for a landfill, including the Ministry of Environment. I am attaching a letter sent to York1 from the Ministry of Environment that states the landfill is “in the town of Dresden”. A landfill does NOT belong inside a town. Read more

The “dump” proposal in Dresden is heartbreaking. I am concerned for the safety of family members that live in and around Dresden. Dumps in general pollute the land, water and air. The surrounding area being the most impacted. The endangered species of animals need to be protected! Read more

This proposed dump is too close to our town!!! An environmental assessment is needed to make sure our townspeople, waterways and wildlife aren’t at risk. Trump has never said he’s going to stop taking our garbage.. sure we should be more independent and have a plan in place. Read more

When the original proposal was brought forward roughly two years ago, the justification was that recyclable materials would be shipped to the United States. Dresden was considered a convenient location for this because of its close proximity to Highway 401, making cross-border transport easier. Read more
