We must be very careful with our public waters. Sustainability must be protected in every community. Anything to streamline will only benefit corporations which have not been known to support sustainability as they have their shareholders and growth to appease.

This is very discouraging. The government of Ontario has a responsibility to manage the resources for our future generations. I thought that this was a responsibility that the government would take seriously. Every community in this country established near a source of drinking water. Read more

Permits to Take Water are wrong because they prioritize corporate profit over the human right to water and ecological sustainability. Water is a public trust and should not be treated as a commodity to be bought and sold, especially when communities lack access to clean water. Read more

Water in plastic bottles is unsustainable, and a waste of resources. Water bottling plants, profit at the expense of public finances and our environment. I believe private ownership of groundwater should not be permitted. Read more
