Protect our endangered species! We only have one planet. I do not want further environmental degradation of the province in order to placate corporate interests. This is an incredibly stupid idea. Don’t make our province worse.

I am extremely opposed to Bill 56, removing endangered species protections and by extension their habitats is DEPLORABLE. Using the economy as a means of justifyjng paving wet lands to further line the pockets of the rich and powerful should be criminal. Read more

Repeal bill 5. It does not have public support. Save our endangered species. Keep greedy companys/politicians away from our already stressed and fragile ecosystems. Stop letting greedy rich people destroy our home.

I understand that your government is used to selling out its people and nature to large cooperations to the detriment to everyone exept you. But try to do your jobs for once and do what is in the best interest for Ontatians and subsequently Canada. ❤️

I do not support this proposal. Rather than significantly weakening protections for species at risk, this government should be safeguarding biodiversity, respecting Indigenous rights and ensuring local communities benefit from the ecosystem services that nature freely provides. Read more

Removing species from the endangered species list will effect more then just the animals. This will start the downfall of Ontario species and rip apart our beautiful natural ecosystem. We need to continue to protect our wildlife species until our last breath. Read more

I am strongly against with proceeding with the contents of Bill 5, the shift of power into the hands of people non-equipped to rationalize or be held responsible to tackle the effects and consequences. Read more

Endangered species and species at risk need habitat that extends past the nest: foraging in surrounding areas are essential to survival of fledglings and nest protection does not mean anything if there is disturbance right beside this area. Read more

I strongly opposes removing species from the endangered species list. They will not improve outcomes for species at risk. On the contrary, they would make it easier for industry and developers to destroy the habitats of our most vulnerable plants and animals.
