Although your government did not agree with the methods of Cap and Trade, it seemed to be working with regard to instilling a greater willingness on the part of Ontarians to look for more anti-pollution methods and choices. I, myself, was able to afford a plug-in hybrid car. Read more

Firstly, I sincerely hope that this government recognizes the fact that global warming and climate change are real. The effect of global warming on climate and ultimately on human lives can be devastating. We must act expeditiously before it becomes irreversible and too late to act. Read more

I support keeping the cap and trade program to support monitoring the big polluters and help climate change initiatives. With recent tornadoes in the Ottawa and Quebec regions, mass flooding that is happening more frequently, crazy weather temp fluctuations in Ontario this summer. Read more

The rebate program for purchasing and keeping an Electronic Vehicle played a huge role in our vehicle purchase. Without it, we would have maybe purchased one in 5 to 10 years, with a 100 km daily commute, out work only driving habits would have continued to contribute to vehicle pollution. Read more

Please withdraw this bill. Climate change IS real, and burying your head in the sand will not make it go away. The Cap and Trade system has been effective and should be continued at least until your government determines a proven better method to reduce emissions. Read more

Energy is a necessary expense. Energy production is more or less expensive depending on the source. Energy use is more or less expensive depending on the impact of its use on the environment. Some effects of energy consumption are irreversible. Read more
