Please stop allowing pesticides to be used in our environment
They are going into our water and out air
Not to mention all the food !
We need to see changes with regards to this as it has become a serious problem.
I do not support this proposal and am in complete disagreement with this. More and more people are getting sick from pesticides and you want to make it easier for them to spray it everywhere? No more chemicals. We have had enough.
I am asking the Government of Ontario to maintain current restrictions on neonics, including third-party verification and reporting requirements, and to work toward a comprehensive ban on these chemicals. I am an urban beekeeper and I see firsthand the devastation of neonics and other pesticides.
The Ontario government is proposing changes to its Pesticides Regulation that go in the wrong direction, inviting overuse of neonics by removing existing accountability mechanisms.

Why is this necessary except to placate the corporations who are peddling the pesticides? Many studies have shown the extreme negative impacts of neonics etc on our pollinators.

We live in a rural farming region of Ontario and have seen far too many of our immediate family, friends and neighbours stricken with cancers and many of these chemicals you are considering loosening restrictions on are implicated by research, evidence and court cases .

It has been established over and over, that pesticides products constitute a serious danger for exposed humans, animals and the environment.
We don’t need a system that encourages facilitates the promotion or more use of pesticides.

Rewiting the exam...every five years is crazy...your going to loose a lot of good men and woman...but I suppose you don't care it's just a money grab for selling books
Given the track record of the present government on environmental issues I do not trust that these supposedly efficiency changes will not reduce the efficacy of the Pesticides Act in preventing ecosystem damage including the risks to pollinators and human health.
