I support these changes. I agree with more regulations to protect our ecosystems. This is a small change for increasing protection against non native species being introduced into our waters.
This proposal is worse for the industry than the first. It would seem as if you did not like us not accepting the first one, and said "here now, we will teach you for your opposition".

What about guests staying at a fishing lodge that have bait included in their fishing package? They would not have been normally given a receipt with the bait.
my wife has a bait shop she sells a lot of bait to local customers, but some try to trap their own bait and they come over to get more bait and have other bait like sunfish and perch and then go fishing to lakes that don't have that.

In the previous Liberal draft of this policy, Brook Silversides were to be included as eligible bait fish but in this draft, they have been removed. Please reconsider this change as they are plentiful and heartier than other species during the hot summer months.

I opened this business in Zone 15 on May 1st, 2015 and so far have had a very successful 4.5 years of business. I estimate that 80% of my sales are all in live bait/minnows.

I propose that live bait is not permitted for use by recreational anglers (except for nightcrawlers).
Let's adopt a more strict use of live bait (like in Quebec).
I agree with limiting release to same bait management area, rather than killing unused bait fish. The current ban on releasing live fish back into the water is cruel.
