Do not extend the gun season(s) by 1 or 2 days in WMUs. After the gun season is over it takes days for the deer to calm down and return to normal patterns. Bow hunters require deer to be 30 meter away or less to harvest, adding days to the gun hunt takes many more days from the bow hunt. Read more

The safety concern for allowing bow hunters to hunt during the controlled gun hunt week(s) is significant.! Early mornings, cover of darkness, entries to ground and tree blinds without gun hunters being aware is dangerous and exacerbated by this proposed change. Read more

The proposal for simplifying and aligning the controlled hunt to allow bow hunting has the worst title. It's not simplifying. As a hunter of 5000 acres in wmu 92 I should be allowed the choice of fire arm or weapon of my choice provided I draw a tag for the designated week. Read more

I am all for aligning the hunting regulations throughout the province and in fact think this process is long long over due. I am however a bit concerned and confused as to why in WMU’s 91 and 92 there are still no changes while all the neighbouring units are changing. Read more
