Hello, I may be young but even I know that this a terrible plan. We already have enough space for everyone in Canada with the spaces already built up. Just continue building them up, we don’t need sprawl. All that does is add more taxes needed to fund next years count. Read more

The original intent of the green space is that it would be protected as such for now and future generations. The provincial and municipal governments have not made significant attempts to create policy and regulations to re zone existing residential development to include greater density. Read more

During the election, it was brought forth the plan to build on the Greenbelt. This was greatly opposed to by the people. As such, it was removed from the platform and we were promised this would not happen. And yet, here we are. This is a very bad idea and I do not support it at all. Read more

Our green belt is there for a reason. Blind adherence to economic growth in the face of environmental constraints is the height of hubris. We have a systems that requires a house in order to have any financial stability or to retire peacefully. Read more

Do not build on protected Greenlands. We need to protect these spaces. The environmental impact will be insurmountable. Please focus on densifying existing areas. Do not do this to us, young people and screw up the future of the planet even more than it already has been.
