I am completely opposed to Bill 23 and it's proposed changes to the existing Greenbelt land. Doug Ford promised not to touch the Greenbelt. It's continued protection is significant in ensuring climate resilient communities in Ontario. Other housing solutions should be found. Read more

I heavily disagree with the proposed amendments to the Greenbelt Plan. We don't need more urban sprawl, we don't need more highways. What we need is to build higher density in the areas that exist currently, and build more public transit options. Read more

I understand that population growth is expected for the GTA and that people will need places to live. However, any solution to this problem MUST be environmentally sustainable, otherwise we're only setting ourselves up for greater cost (or worst, human tragedy) later. Read more

This is the undoing of many who have had the wisdom of foresight and bravery to preserve the Greenbelt in the first place. This is undoing of Reconciliation, of conserving and preserving the land so that the country may persists in how it is perceived in the global imagination. Read more
