I vehemently oppose the opening up of the Greenbelt for development. This will destroy forests and wetlands and imperil precious farmland. It threatens to extirpate the redside dace, a fish listed as endangered under the federal Species at Risk Act. Read more

I disagree with the provincial government's proposed amendments to the Greenbelt Plan. The actions are selfish and do not consider future generations. Wetlands, sensitive areas, woodlots, and sensitive water ways are in peril. Do the right thing and leave the Greenbelt in tact.

This proposed amendment would cause massive disruptions to the current ecosystem, not to mention, the amount of empty housing/large structures that currently exist in Ontario which could be used instead of cutting back green-belts for more development projects. Read more
