With respect, I am horrified at the way the provincial government is trying to ram through change to environmental lands that have been designated significant for 17 years. You cannot remove parts of these lands and just "plant" more. You cannot plant an ecosystem. Read more

Premier Ford and his government promised repeatedly that there would no lands removed from the Green Belt. To suggest that this slicing and dicing of the Green Belt can be compensated by adding other areas for a net increase in protected lands is preposterous! Read more

I am vehemently against this Bill and ask the Government of Ontario to retract it and find a way to address Ontario's housing issue without destroying the Greenbelt. This land is being protected for future generations and to maintain biodiversity in Ontario. Read more
