I have been rock climbing at Devil's Glen for roughly 10 years now. It is truly one of my favourite places in the entire province. The beauty of the walls at Devils Glen is breathtaking, and the rock climbing routes are absolutely incredible. Read more

It's hard to find words to explain the importance of being able to access outdoor climbing. One of the first times I took my children climbing outside was at Devil's Glen. It was in the fall and the leaves were all changing. Read more

It is great to see Rock Climbing included in the Management Plan for the Provincial Park. This is a growing sport that really allows people to connect and appreciate natural spaces. Climbers want to be part of continuing and preserving this uniquely Canadian heritage.

Devil's Glen is where I learned to trad climb. The park has great routes, and it about time that climbing be explicitly allowed there. Climbers are good stewards of the places they go, being careful not to cause any damage to nature, and often picking up trash left by other visitors. Read more

I support the proposal to add rock climbing as an approved activity in Devils Glen Provincial Park. I believe that rock climbing can be integrated responsibly into the park’s recreational offerings while maintaining its core mandate of environmental conservation. Read more

I'm writing in support of the proposed amendment to the Devil's Glen Provincial Park Management Plan, and in particular the addition of a policy under section 8.2 to state that rock climbing may be permitted in areas designated by the park superintendent. Read more

I am glad that the government is bringing rock climbing to a legitimate activity to be performed in parks. Rock climbing is a recreational activity gaining popularity and which allows, specially young people, to be outside at the same time that they socialize with peers. Read more
