Please keep in mind Rock climbing. It has been a part of DG for decades. Until recently, private individuals have taken it upon them selves to harass park goers, both directly and indirectly and cause damage to gear and the environment, as there’s no clear direction on recreation.

I have been outdoor rock climbing for 3 years and highly support any changes to park management plans which legitimizes rock climbing in Devil’s Glen. As an avid climber, I often find it difficult to enjoy the sport in Ontario.

Rock climbing access is a crucial aspect to ontarians enjoying Ontario land. Any proposal that includes climbing as an allowed activity is a benefit to ontarians ability to appreciate, care for, and enjoy our parks.
This is a great initiative to provide excellent options for outdoor climbers while ensuring the safety of the participants and bystanders and preserving environment by designating areas for rock climbing.
I strongly support the proposed amendment to the Devil’s Glen Provincial Park Management Plan that would officially recognize rock climbing as a permitted activity.
