Any opportunity to encourage ontarians to enjoy our wonderful outdoors is an improvement worth pursuing. Rock climbing is a collaborative and supportive community with many that would love to take advantage of this.
I fully support climbing in provincial parks. We should work hand in hand with all parties involved to ensure that all worries are heard, respected, and resolved. At the end of the day, it helps the climbers and the environment be safe.
My family and I started rock climbing 7 years ago and it has greatly improved our lives. Climbing has become an integral part of our physical and mental health and has given us a supportive community.

I feel climbing at Devils Glen (DG) is an important activity to support.
All outdoor activities at an area like DG bring with them both benefit and risk to the area. With proper guidelines, rules and education, risk can be minimized.

I am compelled by this proposal, and support the amendment to the Devil’s Glen PP management plan. I think that sanctioned outdoor rock climbing will increase the utility of the park and will also support the safety of climbers.

I am very glad to see rock climbing recognized as a permitted recreational use of Devil’s Glen Provincial Park. I have been climbing outside for 8 years, and climbing is my main hobby and form of exercise, and also how I connect with my friends and the environment.
