What an incredible proposal this is, to welcome climbing in the park. Climbers are natural conservationists and are a positive addition to our outdoor spaces. I applaud the organized work of everyone involved in bringing this important amendment to fruition.
i love to experience the nature that devil's glen has to offer, while also recreating. it's a shame that this beautiful area has become hostile to climbers. it's always been treated with great respect by our kind, so far as i ever experienced at least.
I support this proposal. As someone who climbs outdoor often there are not a lot of Craig options. This provides a better support to climbers and helps keeps our nature more regulated.- vicky

Climbing is an activity that I do with my entire family. With some of my family members having disabilities we have found that climbing has provided a way for our entire family to be out and active together. It provides an activity for all different skill levels that can be done all together.

Climbing is important to me. My career revolves around climbing as a climbing coach and routesetter at Toprock climbing. Devils glen is a crutal part of ontario rock climbing.
The addition of 18 ha would be a great achievement to help protecting this important area. Also, permitting and regulating rock climbing will increase the responsible usage of the area and help on maintaining it clean.
I love climbing in Southern Ontario and Devil's Glen in particular. It's amazing that we have public access to such a wonderful crag and I hope it continues!

Proposing to add 18 hectares of acquired land to the park to protect representative features of the Niagara Escarpment and provide a limited variety of compatible forms and levels of outdoor recreation.

I’m fully in support of the park being expanded, as well as additional recreation activities (i.e. recognizing and allowing rock climbing) on park property. This allows for more people to access the nature the park provides, and more accessible opportunity.
