I am not a climber but I am a mother of a climber and a long time Clearview resident. Climbing is one of the ways that people in Ontario celebrate and share the outdoors. Having legal and supported access to outdoor spaces makes climbing safer and cleaner and helps support this growing sport. Read more

I strongly support the opening of Devil's Glen to climbers. Climbing brings huge respect and appreciation for nature and the outdoors, and climbers are very respectful and clean visitors who pack in and pack out I have found in my climbing experience across North American outdoor climbing areas. I am very pleased to see the proposed amendment to the Devils Glen Management Plan includes rock climbing as a permitted recreational activity! I've been climbing there consistently for over 5 years and and it is one of my favourite places to climb in all of Ontario. Read more
