I am not in support of York1 wanting to re-establish and expand the landfill in Dresden. The proposal would increase hazards to local roadways. Along with the added risk of noise and silica exposures in the community due to concrete processing for re-use.

If there is a need for a construction recycling facility then it should be put in Chatham Kent I live in Dresden and welcome it the land is designated for that purpose

It seems like York1 is trying to find a loophole in order to not complete this full assessment. I agree with the proposal that a full environmental assessment be required for this site. Otherwise, this would set a dangerous precedent across Ontario.
The safety of children from multiple schools either coming from the North to the site on highway 21 or driving past 2 schools right on highway 21 from the south are in danger of having heavy truck presence which there is enough already.
