As a resident of Ontario I strongly protest Bill 5. Why on Earth would you need to override environmental protections, labour laws, etc. In these so called 'economic zones'?? Canada is known for its nature, it's beauty, it's landscapes.

I oppose this bill as a resident of Ontario. This is too much power in the hands of the government. We need to protect the land NOT hand it over to developers to make Doug Ford rich.
We are already losing greenspace at an alarming rate. Several animals are losing their homes on a daily basis as is. This is not a good idea. How about construction shift to tearing down all of the vacant homes and rebuilding there instead of removing more greenspace
I oppose bill 5 and any action without public oversight. In order to grow an economy, we need to FIRST have sustained and healthy environmental ecosystems. We cannot properly repair the damage once they are gone.
