I say no to bill 5. I want stronger environmental protections. I was in Ottawa for the tornado of 2018 and the dericho in 2021. These were not normal events but will increase in frequency unless we protect our environment. I do not want industry short cuts.
Global warming is real. Wild animals are dying at a faster rate than ever before. We need greater environmental protections, not less. I, my family, and my friends all strongly oppose this bill,
I oppose Bill 5. Canada is home to many beautiful, unique ecosystems and species which need to be protected and preserved. While improving efficiency of environmental assessment is needed, cutting them completely is not the way to do it. This puts people and the environment at risk.
