I oppose this Bill. It is our responsibility to protect the environment and protect endangered species. It is shortsighted of the government to consider enacting this change. The greater impact must be considered.

This is a blatant attempt at an anti-democratic power grab. We let Doug Ford demolish the grounds of Ontario Place under the cover of night, displacing all kinds of wildlife. We now have coyote attacks happening in downtown Toronto as a result. Read more

We should never be going backwards in terms of protecting our environment. Repealing protections for endangered animals, making it easier to develop land without the proper environmental assessments is NOT what the citizens of Ontario want. Read more

This is clearly Doug Ford changing the rules so he can cash in on areas currently under protection. I don’t think scaling back environmental protections is in anyone’s best interest, except for Ford and his wealthy associates. Protect our environment. Do things the right way, or don’t do them.
