It should never be made easier to bypass environmental laws and legislation. Protecting the environment is not a priority of the oil and gas industry and therefore the government needs to ensure that there are protections in place, for this very reason.

I oppose bill 5. Building houses faster will not solve the housing crisis. In the fall of 2024 there were more houses for sale in Ontario than there has been in a decade. Endangered species deserve stronger protection.

This is a disgrace, obviously Doug ford and his government do not care about ecosystem stability and resilience. If you do not protect species it can often affect the food web and cause other populations suffer. We need the ecosystem to stay healthy so it can keep providing us with vital services.

We should use land that is underused in cities first before we go into farmland and untouched natural habitats. I hate that this is being snuck in, developing land without comes with long-term consequences.
